Anti-MMSA1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MMSA1 is a known alias name of the protein zinc finger DHHC-type palmitoyltransferase 9, encoded by the ZDHHC9 gene in humans. This 364-amino acid residue protein is a reported palmitoyltransferase that could catalyze the addition of palmitate onto various protein substrates (Probable). It is localized to the ER and Golgi of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the kidney, skeletal muscle, brain, lung and liver. Other synonyms for MMSA1 include CGI89, CXorf11, and DHHC9. Indicated applications for MMSA1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
