Anti-MSS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MSS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SIL1 gene, which encodes SIL1 nucleotide exchange factor. This protein is known to function in intracellular protein transport and protein folding, among other biological roles. The human version of MSS has a canonical amino acid length of 461 residues and a protein mass of 52.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. MSS is a member of the SIL1 protein family. Indicated applications for MSS antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
