Anti-MKLP2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MKLP2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KIF20A gene, which encodes kinesin family member 20A. This protein is known to function in cell division and protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of MKLP2 has a canonical amino acid length of 890 residues and a protein mass of 100.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bone marrow and lymph node. MKLP2 is a member of the Kinesin protein family. Indicated applications for MKLP2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
