Anti-NGD2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NGD2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IFT52 gene, which encodes intraflagellar transport 52. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly, among other biological roles. The human version of NGD2 has a canonical amino acid length of 437 residues and a protein mass of 49.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell projections of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus and fallopian tube. Other names for this target antigen include C20orf9 and CGI-53. Indicated applications for NGD2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunoprecipitation.
