Anti-MYH17 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The MYH17 antigen is another term for the human protein myosin heavy chain 14, encoded by the MYH14 gene. The protein is reported to be a cellular myosin that appears to play a role in cytokinesis, cell shape, and specialized functions such as secretion and capping. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1995 residues and a mass of 227.9 kilodaltons. It is widely expressed in many tissue types. The MYH17 protein is a member of the Myosin protein family. Some MYH17 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Indicated applications for the antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
