Anti-MRD4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MRD4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KIRREL3 gene, which encodes kirre like nephrin family adhesion molecule 3. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and brain development, among other biological roles. The human version of MRD4 has a canonical amino acid length of 778 residues and a protein mass of 85.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and cerebral cortex. MRD4 is a member of the Immunoglobulin protein superfamily. Indicated applications for MRD4 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
