Anti-TMEM186 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 186. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 213 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. It is a member of the TMEM186 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include C16orf51. TMEM186 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TMEM186 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
