Anti-MHP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MHP is a known alias name of the protein calcium voltage-gated channel subunit alpha1 A, encoded by the CACNA1A gene in humans. This 2506-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in chemical synaptic transmission and the regulation of intracellular calcium, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the liver, duodenum, and cerebellum. Other synonyms for MHP include APCA, APCA, and BI. Indicated applications for MHP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
