Anti-HPC13 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HPC13 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MSMB gene, which encodes microseminoprotein beta. The human version of HPC13 has a canonical amino acid length of 114 residues and a protein mass of 12.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the prostate and stomach. This target antigen may also be known as IGBF.
