Anti-HH antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HH antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FUT1 gene, which encodes fucosyltransferase 1 (H blood group). This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. The human version of HH has a canonical amino acid length of 365 residues and a protein mass of 41.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells. HH is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 11 protein family.
