Anti-LCK2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The LCK2 antigen is another term for the human protein ciliogenesis associated kinase 1, encoded by the CILK1 gene. The protein is known to be required for ciliogenesis. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 632 residues and a mass of 71.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is found to be expressed in the heart, brain, placenta, pancreas, thymus, prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine and colon, with highest levels in the placenta and testis. The LCK2 protein is a member of the CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Other alias names for LCK2 include ECO, EJM10, and ICK. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for LCK2 antibodies.
