Anti-KRAS1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The KRAS1 antigen is another term for the human protein KRAS proto-oncogene, GTPase, encoded by the KRAS gene. The protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and MAPK cascade signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 189 residues and a mass of 21.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. The KRAS1 protein is a member of the Ras protein family. Other alias names for KRAS1 include C-K-RAS, C-K-RAS, and CFC2. Some KRAS1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
