Anti-CD327 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CD327 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SIGLEC6 gene, which encodes sialic acid binding Ig like lectin 6. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and cell to cell signaling, among other biological roles. The human version of CD327 has a canonical amino acid length of 453 residues and a protein mass of 49.9 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in the colon and placenta. This target antigen may also be known as CD33L.
