Anti-HIS2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HIS2 is a known alias name of the protein histatin 3, encoded by the HTN3 gene in humans. This 51-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Histatin/statherin protein family. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications.
