Anti-OR1J1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily J member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 322 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR1J1 is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 1J1 and olfactory receptor OR9-18. OR1J1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR1J1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
