Anti-Gmp antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene NT5C2, or '5'-nucleotidase, cytosolic II' in humans. The 561-amino acid protein is a member of the 5'(3')-deoxyribonucleotidase family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic.
