Anti-gIP-10 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target gIP-10 is a known alias name of the protein C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 10, encoded by the CXCL10 gene in humans. This 98-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a pro-inflammatory cytokine that is involved in a wide variety of processes such as chemotaxis, differentiation, and activation of peripheral immune cells, regulation of cell growth, apoptosis and modulation of angiostatic effects. The protein is secreted and features cleaved post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for gIP-10 include C7, IFI10, and INP10. Western Blot is a widely used application for the gIP-10 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
