Anti-M1S1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target M1S1 is a known alias name of the protein tumor associated calcium signal transducer 2, encoded by the TACSTD2 gene in humans. This 323-amino acid residue protein is believed to function as a a growth factor receptor. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the cervix, urinary bladder, and bronchus. Other synonyms for M1S1 include EGP-1, EGP1, and GA733-1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the M1S1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
