Anti-Lfa1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Lfa1 is a known alias name of the protein integrin subunit alpha L, encoded by the ITGAL gene in humans. This 1170-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and cell matrix adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the lymph node, lung, endometrium, bone marrow, and appendix. Other synonyms for Lfa1 include CD11A, CD11A, and LFA-1.
