Anti-DCD-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DCD-1 is a known alias name of the protein dermcidin, encoded by the DCD gene in humans. This 110-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in proteolysis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in urine. Indicated applications for DCD-1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
