Anti-MBP2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MBP2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PRG3 gene, which encodes proteoglycan 3, pro eosinophil major basic protein 2. This protein is known to function in immune response pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of MBP2 has a canonical amino acid length of 225 residues and a protein mass of 25.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the bone marrow. Indicated applications for MBP2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
