Anti-MARCH-IX antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MARCH-IX is a known alias name of the protein membrane associated ring-CH-type finger 9, encoded by the MARCHF9 gene in humans. This 346-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in protein ubiquitination, among other biological processes. It is localized to the Golgi and lysosomes of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types.
