Anti-Les antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Les antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FUT3 gene, which encodes fucosyltransferase 3 (Lewis blood group). This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of Les has a canonical amino acid length of 361 residues and a protein mass of 42.1 kilodaltons.
