Anti-Le-PAS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Le-PAS is a known alias name of the protein neuronal PAS domain protein 4, encoded by the NPAS4 gene in humans. This 802-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a transcription factor expressed in neurons of the brain that regulates the excitatory-inhibitory balance within neural circuits and is required for contextual memory in the hippocampus (By similarity). It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the brain. Indicated applications for Le-PAS antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
