Anti-KNP3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the KNP3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TRPM2 gene, which encodes transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 2. This protein is known to function in the transport of ions, among other biological roles. The human version of KNP3 has a canonical amino acid length of 1503 residues and a protein mass of 171.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, lysosomes, and cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bone marrow and cerebellum.
