Anti-LIR7 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LIR7 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LILRA2 gene, which encodes leukocyte immunoglobulin like receptor A2. This protein is known to function in cytokine-mediated signaling pathways and innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of LIR7 has a canonical amino acid length of 483 residues and a protein mass of 53 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CD85H, ILT1, and LIR-7.
