Anti-LIR2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LIR2 is a known alias name of the protein leukocyte immunoglobulin like receptor B2, encoded by the LILRB2 gene in humans. This 597-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for class I MHC antigens. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in monocytes and at lower levels in myeloid and plasmacytoid dendritic cells. Other synonyms for LIR2 include CD85D, ILT-4, and ILT4. Indicated applications for LIR2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
