Anti-K5-5 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the K5-5 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CCR4 gene, which encodes C-C motif chemokine receptor 4. This protein is known to function in chemotaxis and immune response pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of K5-5 has a canonical amino acid length of 360 residues and a protein mass of 41.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in soft tissue, small intestine, pancreas, lymph node, and cerebellum. Other names for this target antigen include CC-CKR-4, CD194, and CKR4. Some K5-5 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
