Anti-HCA2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The HCA2 antigen is another term for the human protein adenylate cyclase 10, encoded by the ADCY10 gene. The protein is known to catalyze the formation of the signaling molecule cAMP. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1610 residues and a mass of 187.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm and it is notably expressed in airway epithelial cells and testis. The HCA2 protein is a member of the Adenylyl cyclase class-4/guanylyl cyclase protein family.
