Anti-COCA2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the COCA2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MLH1 gene, which encodes mutL homolog 1. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of COCA2 has a canonical amino acid length of 756 residues and a protein mass of 84.6 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as FCC2. A number of COCA2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
