Anti-CMG antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CMG is a known alias name of the protein calcium/calmodulin dependent serine protein kinase, encoded by the CASK gene in humans. This 926-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and cellular localization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for CMG include CAGH39 and CAMGUK. Indicated applications for CMG antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
