Anti-CIC-2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CIC-2 is a known alias name of the protein chloride voltage-gated channel 2, encoded by the CLCN2 gene in humans. This 898-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in acinar cell differentiation and lung development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The term CLC2 is another synonym for CIC-2. Indicated applications for CIC-2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
