Anti-CD353 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CD353 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLAMF8 gene, which encodes SLAM family member 8. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of CD353 has a canonical amino acid length of 285 residues and a protein mass of 31.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in the spleen, lymph node, lung, and appendix.
