Anti-CADPS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CADPS1 is a known alias name of the protein calcium dependent secretion activator, encoded by the CADPS gene in humans. This 1353-amino acid residue protein is known to be a calcium-binding protein involved in exocytosis of vesicles filled with neurotransmitters and neuropeptides. It is localized to the cytoplasmic vesicles and membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in neural and endocrine secretory tissues. The term CAPS is another synonym for CADPS1. Indicated applications for CADPS1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
