Anti-HPX6 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HPX6 is a known alias name of the protein ladybird homeobox 1, encoded by the LBX1 gene in humans. This 281-amino acid residue protein is known to be a transcription factor required for the development of GABAergic interneurons in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord and migration and further development of hypaxial muscle precursor cells for limb muscles, diaphragm and hypoglossal cord. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. The term CCHS3 is another synonym for HPX6.
