Anti-GASZ antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GASZ antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ASZ1 gene, which encodes ankyrin repeat, SAM and basic leucine zipper domain containing 1. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and spermatogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of GASZ has a canonical amino acid length of 475 residues and a protein mass of 53.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis. Indicated applications for GASZ antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
