Anti-IGDC1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IGDC1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IGSF1 gene, which encodes immunoglobulin superfamily member 1. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of IGDC1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1336 residues and a protein mass of 148.9 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the pituitary gland and testis. Other names for this target antigen include CHTE and IGCD1.
