Anti-ICF2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ICF2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZBTB24 gene, which encodes zinc finger and BTB domain containing 24. This protein is known to function in hematopoietic progenitor cell differentiation and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of ICF2 has a canonical amino acid length of 697 residues and a protein mass of 78.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Other names for this target antigen include BIF1 and PATZ2.
