Anti-HYDM antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HYDM antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NLRP7 gene, which encodes NLR family pyrin domain containing 7. This protein is known to function in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides, among other biological roles. The human version of HYDM has a canonical amino acid length of 980 residues and a protein mass of 111.8 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. HYDM is a member of the NLRP protein family.
