Anti-Hya1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Hya1 is a known alias name of the protein sperm adhesion molecule 1, encoded by the SPAM1 gene in humans. This 509-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in sperm-egg adhesion. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the testis. Other synonyms for Hya1 include HEL-S-96n and HYAL1.
