Anti-HSP78 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HSP78 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CLPB gene, which encodes ClpB family mitochondrial disaggregase. This protein is known to function in granulocyte differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of HSP78 has a canonical amino acid length of 707 residues and a protein mass of 78.7 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. HSP78 is a member of the ClpA/ClpB protein family. Indicated applications for HSP78 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
