Anti-SAP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SAP1 is a known alias name of the protein ETS transcription factor ELK4, encoded by the ELK4 gene in humans. This 431-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in both transcriptional activation and repression. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell.
