Anti-HKE5 Antibody Products

Anti-HKE5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HKE5 is a known alias name of the protein collagen type XI alpha 2 chain, encoded by the COL11A2 gene in humans. This 1736-amino acid residue protein is believed to play an important role in fibrillogenesis by controlling lateral growth of collagen II fibrils. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for HKE5 include DFNA13, DFNB53, and FBCG2.
