Anti-HBAC2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HBAC2 is a known alias name of the protein adenylate cyclase 2, encoded by the ADCY2 gene in humans. This 1091-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the formation of the signaling molecule cAMP in response to G-protein signaling. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in zona glomerulosa and zona fasciculata in the adrenal gland. Other synonyms for HBAC2 include AC2 and AC2. Indicated applications for HBAC2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
