Anti-H17 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the H17 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FOXRED1 gene, which encodes FAD dependent oxidoreductase domain containing 1. This protein is known to be required for the assembly of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I). The human version of H17 has a canonical amino acid length of 486 residues and a protein mass of 53.8 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells. Indicated applications for H17 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
