Anti-GP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GP1 is a known alias name of the protein GTP binding protein 1, encoded by the GTPBP1 gene in humans. This 669-amino acid residue protein is reported to promote degradation of target mRNA species. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term GP-1 is another synonym for GP1. Indicated applications for GP1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
