Anti-HBVES antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HBVES is a known alias name of the protein blood vessel epicardial substance, encoded by the BVES gene in humans. This 360-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cardiac tissue development and hematopoietic progenitor cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in epithelial cells. Other synonyms for HBVES include CARICK and LGMD2X. Indicated applications for HBVES antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
