Anti-GKLP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GKLP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SCYL1 gene, which encodes SCY1 like pseudokinase 1. This protein is known to function in inflammatory response pathways and neuronal development, among other biological roles. The human version of GKLP has a canonical amino acid length of 808 residues and a protein mass of 89.6 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER, Golgi, and cytoplasm of cells. GKLP is a member of the Protein kinase protein superfamily. Indicated applications for GKLP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
