Anti-MAZR antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MAZR antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PATZ1 gene, which encodes POZ/BTB and AT hook containing zinc finger 1. This protein is known to function in male gonad development and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of MAZR has a canonical amino acid length of 687 residues and a protein mass of 74.1 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include PATZ and RIAZ. Indicated applications for MAZR antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
