Anti-marc antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The marc antigen is another term for the human protein C-C motif chemokine ligand 7, encoded by the CCL7 gene. The protein is reported to be a chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes and eosinophils, but not neutrophils. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 99 residues and a mass of 11.2 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein. The marc protein is a member of the Intercrine beta (chemokine CC) protein family. Other alias names for marc include FIC and FIC. Western Blot is a widely used application for the marc antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
